The basis: electric motor

PohlBock develops electric drive motors for applications where reliable performance, high torque density and energy efficiency are critical. The Sepaa21 and Sepaa35 frame sizes are precisely matched to the respective operating point and are designed for voltage ranges from 48 V to 800 V. Depending on the application, variants with brake, resolver sensor or as a fully integrated solution using active components only can be realised. The robust design with IP69K protection withstands vibration, dirt and high-pressure cleaning, providing a reliable basis for modern electrification solutions.

The brain: controller

As the central control element, the controller ensures precise control of the electric drive and guarantees efficient and reliable system operation. PohlBock works with various controller manufacturers and selects the technically most suitable solution depending on the application. In addition to proven standard controllers, customer-specified control units can also be integrated on request. In all cases, we ensure precise coordination with the motor, energy supply and interfaces, as well as seamless integration into existing vehicle and machine architectures.

The manager: Battery management system (BMS)

Our battery management system is one of the most versatile and flexible solutions on the market and monitors all relevant battery parameters for safe and efficient operation. It covers all common voltage ranges and series connections and can be implemented directly in the battery as a robust housing module or in compact circuit board form. Communication interfaces can be individually adapted to customer requirements, allowing the BMS to be seamlessly integrated into different machine and vehicle architectures.

The energy source: rechargeable battery

We develop battery systems that are precisely matched to the requirements of electric drive systems and ensure reliable energy supply. Our systems support voltages of up to 120 V and are IP69K-rated, enabling long-term performance even under strong vibrations and in harsh or humid environments. Thanks to their robust design and close coordination with the battery management system, our batteries can be optimally adapted to a wide range of machines, operating profiles and integration scenarios.

The connection: wiring harness

At PohlBock, cable harness systems are created from scratch—including detailed design and circuit diagrams—and are then manufactured entirely by machine. This enables us to achieve a high degree of reproducibility and minimize typical sources of error in hand-made cable harnesses, which are often very costly to test and correct. The robust design and precise coordination with all system components also ensure stable cable structures and reliable operation in daily use.

Independent energy: IPS77

The IPS77 is a mobile, grid-independent energy unit that reliably supplies machines, vehicles and equipment with both DC and AC power. With high storage capacity, integrated power electronics and a robust design, it is suitable for construction sites, workshops, agricultural applications, events, as well as for use by fire brigades and disaster response organisations. The IPS77 can be charged via mains power or PV systems and supports various communication options for professional applications.

hydraulic applications

Emergency response organizations & disaster control
In critical situations, power supplies and electrical systems must function reliably at all times – independently of the grid. The IPS77 and our other system components enable a mobile, self-sufficient power supply for emergency equipment, vehicles, and temporary infrastructure. Ideal for fire departments, technical relief services, rescue services, and mobile emergency bases.
Off-grid & energy supply
Remote or temporary locations require energy and drive systems that can operate without a grid connection while still offering maximum reliability.
